Job Description:
We are looking for a Sr. Accountant with experience with both hardware and software accounting. The position will require a strong understanding of GAAP principals and its applications to both hardware and software. The position will cover all aspects of the business working with different departments and the need to understand their requirements. The ideal person should have experience with a start-up and its varying responsibilities and the knowledge of the controls and processes of refining the Finance Department to the next level.
Responsible for day-to-day finance / accounting functions - Responsible for month-end close.
- Responsible for monthly reconciliations, General Ledger entries, and reporting.
- Works closely with Staff Accountant on Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets
- Responsible for assisting in Payroll using ADP.
- Responsible for equipment leasing submissions.
- Assist with developing Invoicing / Accounts Receivable processes.
- Key player in maintenance of Oracle ERP system.
- Cost accounting responsibilities in tracking ongoing transactions and financial reporting.
- Actively participate in year-end audit, manage year-end package, audit schedules as required by outside auditor.
- Responsible for review of inventories and asset management, including implementation of controls and procedures.
- Direct interface with Manufacturing/Operations personnel.
- Experience with electronics manufacturing desired.
- Oracle experience strongly desired.
- Public accounting experience preferable.
- Industry experience 5+ years desired.
