Sling Media is a digital lifestyle products company, focused on creating empowering entertainment experiences for consumers.  Sling Media's award winning Slingbox turns any Internet-connected PC, Mac, or mobile device into your home television allowing you to watch your TV virtually anywhere in the world.  The Sling Entertainment Group is a division of Sling Media and will deliver new applications and services enabled by the Slingbox's marriage of familiar TV programming and richly interactive web-connected devices.

The Ad Ops Manager will be primarily responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enhancing complex online advertising campaigns in support of all sales and distribution projects. This position manages the Ad Ops team and involves sales and client support, vendor management, campaign project management, execution and reporting. The Ad Ops Manager works closely with Production, Partner Managers and Technology teams (as well as external creative agencies providing materials for clients) to implement campaigns across an immersive, multi-platform experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provision, track, measure, and analyze the performance of multiple campaigns. This includes updating and maintaining detailed client campaign reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Regularly monitor and reconcile campaigns across delivery, financial and third party ad serving systems.
  • Work directly with content owners on advertising solutions.
  • Directly manage relationships with external system providers, working with Ad Ops team on solving any day-to-day issues.
  • Work with internal and external sales teams to accurately assess site sell-through and forecast future demand.
  • Organize interdepartmental workflow to ensure that all elements are handled according to process/schedule.
  • Perform quality assurance/quality control checks on client campaigns to ensure that all client and sales objectives are being met. 

  • Guide the Ad Ops team in developing skills such as creative thinking, scoping, problem solving, and communication. 
Requirements:
  • At least five years of relevant experience managing ad operations at a media, broadcast, or content company.
  • BA/BS Degree preferred
  • Superior knowledge of online advertising and best practices
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Experience in client services and support
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with HTML, Macromedia Flash, Javascript preferred.
  • Experience with one or more Internet/Mobile ad management and sales management applications (e.g., DoubleClick DART, 24/7 Real Media, OpenAdStream, Right Media etc.) preferred.
  • Must have working knowledge of 3rd party tags and be familiar with Flash and various rich media advertising creative technologies.
  • Ability to work independently, create processes, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
